Liberalism–it’s not what you think

Many people today really don’t understand America.

It’s understandable, I guess.  Public education isn’t what it used to be.  Politicians and the press tell us what they want us to believe.  A lot of people simply aren’t paying attention.  Many others don’t know what they believe, if they believe in anything or even have what could be called a belief system.

Yet belief systems exist and they motivate us, direct us and guide us.

I’ve written a A Potted history of liberalism to explain in less than two pages what liberalism is and where it came from.  It’s not at all what you think.
